  • I knew I shouldn't have clicked on this discussion. My aggravation level just flew out the window. I can not believe how people are so easily fooled by Palin and the Tea Party; I think lots will be suprised to see the demented direction this country will take if they get into power.

  • I think this is disgraceful; you have kids and pregnant women who are at high risk. I am a nurse, and because I only work part-time, I have been unable to get the vaccine from my employer. Go figure that. These firms are behaving selfishly and without concern for the high risk population.

  • Jerry, I appreciate your reply. Extremism on either side is offensive. I do not put Tiller in the same boat as the majority of people who are anti-abortion. He is a murderer and that is that. What I find offensive is being called pro-death for my decision to be pro-choice. This works both ways.

  • Again I say, Jerry, not all pro-choice believers are liberal, and what you are saying is hateful and devisive. You are only stirring the pot. Is that what good conservative Christians do? I always thought Christians were supposed to forgive and care about others, not derride and tear others down.

  • Jerry, these are obviously extreme views and most people do not hold these opinions. I am anti-war, anti-bush, and OMG pro-choice, but do not hold extremist views and am not a supporter of terrorism either. I do not hate people who feel that abortion is wrong. I respect their choice.

  • I think whether or not to bury a miscarried child should be a personal choice of the parents. Doctors do not have the right to dictate that. We lost a baby at 5 months, but chose not to have a burial.

  • BOS, I feel that the two extremes (far right and far left) should not be dictating policy in this country. i am personally a moderate, and vote either party depending on the issues.

  • Separation of church and state was indeed implied by Thomas Jefferson, and is stated in the first ammendment of the Constitution. This does not mean that religion is not embraced, but itdoes not hold a place in government matters. Religion should not be dictating policy.
